I and my friend reached Hyderabad and we went to a To-Let consultant for a room. He showed me a number of rooms and flats. Finally I confirmed a One BHK flat. The rent was Rs.4000. The consultant took 50% of the first month room rent as his fees. The room is very nice. The day I came with the consultant I asked him “Which type of railway track is it?” He lied to me and said “It’s a local train railway track.” Actually the track is just 4 human steps beside. But on the very first day we come to know that this is the main track to Bangalore, Mumbai, Chennai, and other south stations. It’s a local track as well. In every five minutes at least one train passes. The horn some times scares us at nights. If it is an electric engine then we feel irritated only when they blow horn. But many a times they are diesel propelled trains and they start accelerating and producing very annoying sound in the front of our house only. And if it is a carriage train then ‘O My God’. They produce abundant noise as well as they are long enough to take few minutes to pass away. There is also an additional problem. Just in the front of our house there is the signal light of railways. So 5 out of 10 trains come and stop due to red light. They also add some extra noise all the time. You know, sometimes (at least 8-10 times every day) there are situations when two trains cross each other here only, blowing horn and accelerating as well. You know, just 1 kilometer away, there is an airport named Begampet Airport. It’s a domestic airport. There are 8-10 flights every day. Can you imagine the best interesting displeasure situation which occurs; when two trains are passing each other in front of our house and at the same time an airplane takes off. I can’t describe that situation. It’s just an imagination.
So I will advise not to take a room, flat or house so near to a Indian Railway Track.
